Your visitor would read the article, and perhaps click to have a look at your product, and perhaps not. A lot will depend on the wording on the link that got them to your page in the first place. That would

They will probably glance at that just before clicking the navigation button to take them away. The squeeze page is mush more effective since it focuses on the benefit immediately without any other content, articles or offers to distract them.
